CCC officers named

According to a USA Today poll, interest in supporting Clay Aiken is high among animals, who support Clay over Ruben by a 3-to-1 margin.

“We’d like to sit in Clay’s lap,” purred Louise Watkins, president of the Cats for Clay Club (CCC), a newly formed fan group that recently named its officers. Filling out the roster is Vice President Molly Furness, a supermodel who has offered to take Clay’s place in the cheesy American Idol product-placement spots. In addition, Louise has bullied her younger sister Thelma into serving as secretary-treasurer of the group. Finally, Chip Adams, president of an allied animal fan group and a telecommunications expert, will head the Voting Committee.
