Shades of Tamyra

Yeah, so....by the end of last night's episode, I was comfortably multi-tasking on the sofa (knitting a silver boa for fellow Broad Paula, periodically checking Ebay for vintage frocks, and eating french fries)....fully expecting that Trenyce and Josh would place in the bottom two, as was right and proper as the world continued to turn, babies being born and all. The natural order of things, you know?

Then Ruben was called down and I shrieked like a 12-year-old being told that she couldn't go to the Justin Timberlake show because she'd gotten a "D" in Earth Science.

You know, I spoke of ill of Ruben yesterday, but never in my wildest dreams would I have expected that turn of events. But, then, the whole thing smacks of the Great Tamyra Scandal of '02, which in turn leads me to have my doubts about the validity of the voting process. That said, there truly is no accounting for taste, and if folks want to keep Josh and his cro-mag jawline over someone who can actually sing, there ain't much I can do except to keep voting for Clay.
