The Ranch: Hoe Down

The Ranch: Hoe Down

No one ever said we don't know how to enjoy ourselves at The Double-O Wild BEVR Ranch. Our favorite time for fun is the weekly Hoe Down. Every TuesClay night, we part-ay till the cows come home. Yessiree, every TuesClay we keep on sayin' 'this is the night!'

The fiddler's fiddle (our so-called, innocent, Miss Kelly is known for fiddling the longest) and the bass player strums that long neck. Jenette/Jet picks away on the ol' banjo, which is sort a funny, 'cause she's not normally picky about what she does around The Ranch, and can be seen helping out with whatever needs doin' most days. Seems like she jest wants to be in on allllll the fun. We are all learning to play the spoons, because it reminds us of spooning.

Everyone dances. Cella, she who is so skilled peeling Fuji apples in the kitchen, is also the Line Dance Instructor for the Hoe Down when we git down. Her first order of business was to teach Buttercup the Tush Push:

Some have said Baby cain't dance, but, we think he's got it down all right.

Truth to tell, detailed choreography is not our specialty. We let loose with the music and it takes us wherever it moves us, as if an invisible force is driving us onward.

When we're spent, we all gather 'round and our long-necked Golden Throat graces us with many a song. This drives the Broads and all their Wild BEVRs into a greater frenzy than any other time o' the week. He's well known for his power and his range, and we are all in awe. Surely his singing soothes our souls. Plus, whether it's the fresh mountain air, or his delight with our company, out here on the range, he has endurance. He jest does not stop, and that's the way we like it.

Special appreciation to all the contributors to the LBFCA Ranch Series, including:

Sandi for her song; Marie for the Ranch photos; Cindy and Katynka for the awesome Ranch Gate; our pardners from PRoC, from whom we rustled the to-die-for pic of (oops, Nelle will fill y'all in on that pic after it appears); an unknown Broad at TTC for the bucking Clay; Katynka for her hot hot branding graphics and animation magic; Ruth and Debra for the Stud-Thud Muffin recipe; as well as every Broad and Brude named in the series, who each contributed their own lecherous job description.

Most especially, Lecherous Broads for Clay Aiken expresses appreciation to Mr. Clay Aiken, Our Idol Always and Forever, for every way that he inspires our lechery and devotion on a daily basis, for those times when he knows what he's doing to us, and for those times when he just doesn't get it himself.
