HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!

New Year's Day at LBFCA, I usually take a retrospective look back at the year just ended, and extend some heartfelt wishes for Clay to find peace, joy and meaningful personal growth. In 2008, more than any of the prior years since Clay Aiken became a public figure, he showed to me that he is doing just fine pursuing his own peace, joy and meaningful personal growth.

This was the year of 8-8-08.

This was the year of Clay's coming out to the public. To us, his fans.

The rest of the year was filled with Spamalot, promoting Spamalot, golf, launch of On My Way Here, promoting OMWH, UNICEF, back to Spamalot, a BAF Gala in Raleigh, more Spamalot, and rumors of a special someone in Clay's life (besides the baby!).

At both the Raleigh Gala and a talk with fans fundraiser for BCEFA, Clay talked about touring. At the talk, he mentioned a new album of �not original� material, and said he missed singing. As a fan who misses his touring, and obsessively interested in his career as a singer, I�m eagerly awaiting news of both. Bring it, Clay. Bring it in 2009!
