Before us is not the man we all laugh and lust over
but an angel.

We watch in awe -
the ethereal lighting
the beautiful face
the wraithlike hands

And the voice.
A voice not of this world.
We watch in fascination as he
reaches deep within
reaches high above

His voice carrying us
surrounding us
entering us.

He goes to another place
and takes us with him.

For some, it affirms their faith in God,
for others, it restores their faith in humanity.
It reminds us all about beauty and wonder and spirit.

when this messenger
this angel
connects with us
and gives us
good news.
