It's Written in the Stars!
March 27, 2004 Thomas and Mack
Las Vegas, NV... Scientists have released information regarding a rare astronomical event that will be at its most visible on March 27th. It just so happens that this event also coincides with a particular star rising in the West. Little did they know they'd be witnessing the formation of a new constellation! This planetary event will not be matched for another 32 years, scientists say. And all I can say is ... the Mercury will definitely be rising as our Venusian hotty takes the stage outshining all other stars and planets. And with words like nekkid, stage, extension and projection being used to describe this event. Well ... you do the math. While five of the nine planets will be visible with the nekkid eye ... It appears that nine of the twelve Main Page Broads will be doing the happy nekkid dance whilst our purple tassled selves bask in the glow of the city that never sleeps! Joining them will be sixteen brave Broads looking for adventure while pursuing that same star!!! Although it is the smallest of the three Broadfests ... this one promises to be a weekend to remember. MgM Pat adds, "Oh it is just too bad this phenomena won't be visible in Las Vegas, Nv. It seems it is being totally eclipsed by the brightest light ever seen emitting from the star of Clayton, newly named heavenly body, performing Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center." Be sure to keep your eyes to the skies and your telescopes pointed left ... I mean West!! Westward Ho!
