Three words: Simon, Simon, Simon. He makes no sense at all. He suggests that a young honey who cannot sing is marketable, rags everyone else about their weight or lack of AI look but lays off Ruben on that score, and picks Ruben over Clay, despite Clay's huge fan base.

Makes no sense. But, truth be told, I hope Clay doesn't win. Winning would be the kiss of death to his soul. Being signed by them as a nonwinner with some freedom would be much, much better than being their lackey.

Fingers crossed, yet again; I voted for the first time and found Clay's line free for most of the two hours. Folks at the Television Without Pity forum are reporting the same anomaly and freaking out.

Oh, sisters, what if he DOESN'T ASK ME TO THE PROM?????
