And Then There Were Five

I say this with much trepidation�. However, you know Simon made a point last night. Clay may be well suited for Broadway. Or a perfect Disney voice. He�s got a perfect voice for recording. Do I really seem him as big pop performer? No, not really. Do I see him as the next Barry Manilow, Harry Connick Jr., Frank Sinatra, or Dean Martin? Absolutley. He�s a crooner. And for that matter I don�t see Ruben as a big pop super star either. He�s another Barry White, Luther Vandross, or Lionel Ritchie in my book. Josh, he could easily be the next Garth Brooks if he�d stop singing out of his nose. And Kimberly Locke, as much as it pains me to say it � she�s going to give those boys a run for their money. She�s improving more and more. Trenyce, I see easily as a performer. Is she Whitney Houston material? She could be with time. She still scares me to watch her sing.

And this leaves me to our problem child. Carmen. Her new found attitude last night was indeed amusing at best. She really thinks she is going to win this competition. She is chronically off key and pitchy. Her make up reminds me something out of a porn movie � I mean come on, if those are not blow job lips I don�t know what are!!!

As much as I want Clay to win this competition hands down, I predict it�s going to be a tight run between Clay, Ruben, and Kimberly. The other twist to this � could be that America because they feel sorry for Carmen, and feel the need to put the screws to Simon and Randy, may keep Carmen in just because. Watching her and hearing her sing is painful.
