In an emergency meeting of the Cats for Clay Club (CCC), members reacted to recent media reports that their Idol, Clay Aiken, 'hates cats.' Much meowing and hissing was heard as members argued over the significance of this news. West Coast CCC member, Cali, was heard to purrrrr, 'what difference does it make whether or not he likes us? Those are just the kind of persons upon whose lap I most enjoy settling, only after giving them a quick look at my upturned tail.'

CCC celebrity, Odin, pictured below in his Clay Aiken Grease costume, attempted to rally the crowd. Since becoming a feline Clay Aiken impersonator, Odin has attacted his own fan following. Long time CCC member, Grizzabella, has even started a popular online fan group, Lecherous Cats for Odin (LCO).

While Grizzy was observed drooling over Odin, the rest of the gathered CCC members were divided over how to respond. Half became quickly distracted and went outside to chase bugs, and the rest of the crowd fell peacefully to napping.
