When Clayton's Eyes Are Smiling

(to the tune of When Irish Eyes Are Smiling,
lovingly rewritten by Julie)

When Clayton's eyes are smiling
Sure it's like a morn in spring
In the lilt of Clayton's laughter
You can hear the angels sing

When lech'rous hearts are happy
All the world seems bright and gay
And when Clayton's eyes are smiling
They be stealin' our hearts away!

There's a glint in his eye
And it's evil, says I
Such an ocular means to enthrall

With such pow'r in his smile
Sure a stone he'd beguile
And there's nary a Broad left to fall

Clayton's dear little laugh's
Like the sweetest of songs
And his eyes crinkle, cute as can be

Darlin', laugh all the while
And all other times smile...
And please wink when you're smilin' at me!

When Clayton's eyes are smiling
Broads the world around will swoon
'Neath the lovely lids and lashes
Lies a power like the moon

When Clayton's Broads are happy
Though it might sound quite cliche
When it comes to eyes and smiling
Nothing smiles like the eyes of Clay!

...and for all the Broads on this fine
Saint Patrick's Day, a toast!

May those who love us, love us.
And for those who don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if he cannot turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we may know them by their limping.

-- Julie, with photo assistance from Lisa and Robin, and inspiration by the luminous eyes of Our Beloved...he who hath turned this place into Sodom and Begorrah! (Ow!! Stop hitting me!! Why are y'all hitting me?)
