ClayNational Tartan Day
Lecherous Record of the Lecherous Broads, 2nd session Vol.3 Delusion, Friday April 2, 2004 No.1 Whereas this resolution honors the major role that Scottish North Americans have played in the founding of this Clay Nation, such as the fact that many of the designers of the DeClayration of Independence are of Scottish descent, the" President of LBFC" Himself is of Scottish ancestry, Scottish North Americans successfully helped shape this country in its formative year and guide this Nation through its most troubled times; Whereas this resolution recognizes the monumental achievements and invaluable contributions made by Scottish AmerAikens that have led to Clayton's preeminence in the fields of geriatric medicine, genetics, politics, education, architecture, teen literature, media, and visual and performing arts; Whereas this resolution commends the numerous organizations throughout the United Clay Nations that honor Clayton's heritage, traditional values, and culture, representative of the hundreds of thousands of North Americans of Scottish descent residing in every State and Province, who have already made the observance of Tartan Day on April 6 a success; and Whereas these numerous individuals, clans, sisterhoods, clubs, and internet organizations do not let the great contributions of Clay Aiken go unnoticed: Now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Broads designate April 6 of each year as "ClayNational Tartan Day." [That's our story, and we're stickin' to it. Now where's Kiltie Clay....] I didn't say nothin' about no Waldo Monument....or Sandi's miracle baby....
Hear! hear his pipes are calling, Loudly and proudly calling MOAMing again. Where once the thrills were sleeping, Now feel the blood a-leaping, High as the glory notes of Clayton Aiken ~~Chorus: Towering in gallant frame, Clayton my southern flame! High may your proud standards gloriously wave! Laird of my hormone fever Laird of the shameless BEVR Laird of my heart for ever! Clayton the Brave! High in the misty highlands Or by the purple islands, Broad are the hearts that beat Beneath BIRDly ties. Wild are the plans to meet you Lech'rous the fans that greet you, Kind as the love that shines from fair maiden's eyes. Far off in sunlit places Sad are post-concert faces, Yearning to feel the Kiss Of sweet Clay Aiken. Where tropic skies are beaming, Love sets the heart a-dreaming, Longing and dreaming for Clayton Holmes Aiken. Hot as a burning ember, Flaming in bleak December Burning within the hearts Of women afar! Calling to Broads on fire Calling the sweet desire, Shining a light that beckons, Clayton's our star! [Hehehe---I didn't have to change the lyrics or the rhyme scheme much. Give me credit for not making it "from Shieldmaiden's eyes!"]
aik=oak....so maybe Aiken really should mean "oaken" after all. I lost my mind sometime after "He haes a tung that wad clip clouts...Tak a rise out o...and Lat his ain wand ding him...and Ye'll get yir head in yir hauns an yir lugs ti play wi ...."
