Soul Man Who knew? Ohh, maybe we had hints of the sexy and earthy stylin' abilities of Clay Aiken since way back around I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch). Plus, last fall we got an intermittent growl during the televised performances of Invisible. Sure, during the IT, we saw sultry Clay during ISY, but he didn't really even start adding the growl to that performance until well into this Summer/Cummer/Unnggh Tour. So, who knew our lanky crooner could bring us what we've seen this summer? That's when R&B Clay came out to play. First with I Knew You Were Waiting. Then, Chain of Fools. Later, Signed, Sealed and Delivered. This Tiger is loose!
As I started to gather caps and pix for this page, I couldn't help noticing how for these songs the stage is lit with sexy, warm, vibrant yellows, reds and purples. Giving the venues the visual look and atmosphere of a smoky club, instead of concert halls and fairground sheds...
He's a Soul Man!
Soul Man
He's a soul man
He's a soul man
Got what he got the hard way
He's a soul man
Play it S'von!
He's a soul man
Listen
He's a soul man
He's a soul man
He'll grab your heart and he'll pull you in
He's our soul man
Clay's our soul man
He's our soul man
He's our soul man
